I've been quiet for a while I know. I could say that I was on a mission for MI-6, British Secret Intelligence, trying to stop an international nuclear terrorist arms trading syndicate. In truth, I've been lazy and haven't had much inspiration to type anything here in the past couple of months. I actually don't have much to talk about right now, so I'll just type a bunch of random things that I've been doing.
I'm in a band. We're called Herd of Fleas. I'm rhythm guitarist and one of the lead singers. We have a female vocalist too. She's really good.
I made the best tri-tip chili a few weeks ago. I brought it to a friend's house and there was nothing left after. Yep, that good.
My second batch of beer, a porter, is ready to go into bottles. My third batch will be a high gravity beer, specifically an Imperial Stout. It'll take at least half a year for that one to be ready.
I was training for a triathlon, but I got injured and stopped. I've just started running again. I did 5k yesterday and did okay for my current level of fitness. I'm trying to do some maintenance running and building up my base again, so I can start training for Cal next month.
I've gotten back into boxing. I like punching bags.
