whee!

I was able to run my first sub 6:00 minute mile this morning. Yay! We started off with a 20 minute warmup around the block and then proceeded to do intervals. We started off with a mile, which got me in the mood to run. I did that in 6:25. Next we did a half, which got my turnover going and then we did another mile. I felt like I was flying on this one and managed to just get in under 6:00 minutes. I was pretty beat after that but managed to do another half and then call it a morning. I'll be co-leading a buddy tonight for TNT so that should get me nice and tired. I'm seeing how tired I can get myself before the big sur half this weekend.
