Just My Imagination

I was listening to the radio this morning, and there was an article in Time about imaginary friends. The radio station had people calling in relating stories to them about imaginary friends they had had or that their kids had once had. As I was listening I realized that I didn't have one imaginary friend as a kid. I did talk to myself a lot, but it was all inside my head. I didn't externalize any of it. This seems sort of odd to me because I had and still have a very overactive imagination. I would come up with story lines for my toys, replete with bad guys, clones, android replicants, and evil villain's having changes of heart. This was part of my "Capatin Indigo" storyline which I came up when I played with my Lego. I had one psuedo-imaginary friend, but he was my teddy(who was actually a dog)bear. I had species issues. I would talk and play with him, but he was actually tangible. Anyway I just found the fact that I had no imaginary friends sort of weird.
