I should proofread more often. I have some odd grammar and spelling mistakes. Oh well, I'm an engineer. A nobel laureate in writing isn't really required for my job.

Oooh. Yesterday as part of Toastmasters, I was Toastmaster of the day. Meaning I was the organizer of the whole meeting yesterday and also head of ceremonies. I surprisingly had a lot of fun and so did everyone else in the meeting. I really love being in front of people and being the center of attention, so being Toastmaster was just perfect for me. Everyone said I did a great job of interejecting humor every now and then to lighten the mood of the meeting. Now more than ever, it seems we need to have a little mental break once in a while in our meetings because of our current schedule. We're currently in the middle of our 4 week long Speechcraft seminar. The seminar is basically a Toastmaster bootcamp where we have five speechcraters give a speech each week. It's been a learning experience for all of us especially myself because I can see my weaknesses apparent in other people. I've really learned a lot from being in Toastmasters. I'd recommend it to anyone even if you're already a good public speaker.

I think having this blog has given me a case of mental diarrhea.
